Who is The Loneliest Lone Wolf?
I am The Loneliest Lone Wolf…
Sounds a little dramatic doesn't it? At least I hope it did… I was going for dramatic! But it made sense to me to start off with addressing this is right off the bat rather than later. Now this is where it would’ve been better had I mentioned something a little cryptic or mysterious about myself… something along the lines about what it means to be a lone wolf and then drawing that definition out to define what it means to be the Loneliest of the lone wolves out there…
But I figured let’s not do that, instead why not keep things as simple and straightforward as possible. So coming back to why I became The Loneliest Lone Wolf… the same reason why Clark Kent becomes Superman or why Bruce Wayne becomes Batman… no, not to stop supervillains or to fight crime, instead to do the things that their everyday persona couldn’t!
Let me give you a little insight into the kind of person I am when I am not The Loneliest Lone Wolf… I am the kind of person who used to get panic attacks over should I like a post of my family and friends on Facebook or not! I sounds stupid, believe me I know, but I would just sit there and overthink the situation so much that I couldn’t do anything about it. With public speaking the same thing, only worse… and when I say ‘public speaking’ I am using that term very loosely to describe whenever I had two or more people in front of me!
But I have always fancied myself as having stories and ideas floating around in my head that I wanted to share with the world and hear what people had to say about them. I also knew that I couldn’t do that as myself but that just meant that it was a job for The Loneliest Lone Wolf!
And not only was I finally able to start telling the story that I had in my head for all these years, but once I had started, I couldn’t stop!
Soon enough the story became a series and now the series has become a full blown saga. And it’s been a fun ride! The first book in the series was out in March, and I am already to come out with fifth one in another week!
You can check it out if you’d like to at this link but only if you’re into character driven futuristic fantasies… and yes, I could’ve jammed in a whole bunch of other keywords in there! It’s been reasonably well received but I love it hear what others might have to say about it. And did I mention that it is free?
So yeah… that’s what this is all about. And if anyone out there can identify with what I just said and has something they’d like to present before the world but for some reason can’t do it, I’d highly recommend they try and get their inner Batman to take over and do what their outer Bruce Wayne cannot do!
A quote! That’s how I’d like to wrap this post with… and one of the best quotes I have heard in a long time is from the British writer Danny Wallace…
Anonymity is an abused privilege, abused most by people who mistake vitriol for wisdom and cynicism for wit.
It’s not surprising that his brother David did so well as a top level executive at that famous paper company that had its flagship office at Scranton, PA.
